It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we inform our readers of the passing of one of the dogs in the Mason Bone Cancer Study, and a friend to Lili’s Notes. Molly was the second dog to receive the vaccine at UPenn, and though she fought hard, she lost her battle with osteosarcoma on December 9. Our sympathies and sincerest condolences go out to Jennifer and Mark, Molly’s mom and dad.
A good dog never dies. He always stays. He walks besides you on crisp autumn days when frost is on the fields and winter’s drawing near. His head is within our hand in his old way. ~Mary Carolyn Davies

🙁 So sorry to hear this…
Jennifer and Mark…I hadn’t checked in in a while and just saw this post. We are so very sorry to hear this sad news. I know you loved Molly very much and will miss her terribly. It is very evident that Molly had a great life with you and evident that you have done all you could do for her. She was a very lucky girl to have a mom and dad who cared so much! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
